Gear Player is an application for OS X and more recently iOS that allows users to access Google Play Music and YouTube without having to confine themselves to a web browser〔(Try A Cheap Mac App That Brings Google Music To Your Ears (without browser or Flash) )〕 or having to install Flash Player, with an interface similar to iTunes.〔(Google Play Musique : quel client Mac choisir ? )〕 The application was created in 2012 by Zsolt Szatmári from Hungary.
